Matchday Information
Non-Fulfilment of Fixtures
Please note Stuart Varneys change of Mobile number 07368 311649 (Also updated in the handbook)
Clubs are reminded that they MUST TELEPHONE THE FIXTURES SECRETARY, REFEREES SECRETARY, REFEREE & OPPONENT TO CALL A MATCH OFF AS PER OUR NON-FULFILMENT PROCESS, if calls are unanswered leave voicemails - Do not assume that texts / emails have been received on time!
Fixtures Without Referees
Matches cannot be called off in advance! Teams are expected to attend the match on the day regardless of the allocated match officials. If you cannot agree on a replacement referee before kick off at the ground on the day then both clubs must inform the league of the agreed postponement
We know there is a current shortage of referees at the moment but matches must be played where possible.
Be advised that you must confirm with your referee by Tuesday otherwise you run the risk of have your referee removed and put on another match. Also do not assume that the referee has received and email or txt confirmation! It is the home teams responsibility to ensure that the referee has received confirmation
Requesting a fixture postponement
Postponement requests will only be considered if received on the provided form. We will not consider any by email so please stop emailing Stuart and use the processes in the handbook. Requests outside of the process will be deleted without notice
Claims for Wrongful Dismissal
If you have a player sent off and you want to make a claim against the dismissal please contact your County FA. I have attached the guidance of what you can and cant claim against and the timeframes attached to it
Matchday Team Sheets
If you need a new book you can collect from me, address is in the handbook, just let me know when you want to come or I will post if really needed
we understand if some do not want to pass the sheets from person to person so if that is the case please take a photo of your oppositions team sheet for your records. Remember you cannot make a player complaint without the team sheet so please ensure you do one or the other
Some of the referees will not want to take one either so suggest to them to do the same if they want a copy

FA COVID-19 Guidelines
3) What happens if a player tests positive for Covid-19?
If there is a player who has tested positive, they must from that point self-isolate (or if they have symptoms, from the moment of symptoms) and NHS Test and Trace will pick up from this point. The player should contact NHS111.
The club can carry on, but be mindful to ensure that all guidelines are strictly followed on social distancing, hand washing etc. If Test and Trace contact them, they must provide details and then if deemed anyone needs to isolate on their instruction, do so
4) What Happens if i have played an opposition team and one of their players has tested positive for Covid-19
Match play is not considered 'close contact' so no action is needed unless individuals experience symptoms, in which case they must self-isolate from that point as per government guidance
6) A player has had Covid-19 but is now recovered - can they play? (Do they need a negative test?)
As long as the player is no longer symptomatic and has fully recovered then it would be fine for them to play, without a negative test, as long as they have finished the specified quarantine period. However, the player should follow advice from a medical professional on when it is best to return to exercise. They should also not rush back if they do not feel well enough
10) What happens if a player, parent or coach shows Covid-19 symptoms before, during or after a match?
All players, officials, volunteers and spectators must undergo a self-assessment for any Covid-19 symptoms and complete a full risk assessment, as set out in the FAs guidance. No-one should leave home to participate in football if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following
If an individual becomes symptomatic past an activity they must follow the NHS Test and Trace Guidance
